AI audits & automation for small businesses

Less busywork. More of your actual business.

I look at how your business actually runs, then build automation for whatever's eating your time. Priced up front, no jargon.

What this could look like for you

A few examples of the kind of flows I build. Pick the one closest to your world.

I also work with resale, hospitality, and other small businesses.

Lead intake & routing

A new inquiry from Zillow, your site, or a call gets tagged and routed to the right agent instead of sitting in an inbox.

Listing copy, drafted for you

Feed it the property specs and photos, get back MLS-ready copy plus versions for social and a flyer.

Showing reminders & follow-up

Confirmations, reminder texts, and a drafted follow-up after every showing, ready for you to send.

Deadline tracking across your pipeline

Flags missing disclosures, inspection deadlines, and contingency dates before they become a problem.

Watch it work

Try an invoice follow-up by hand, then watch it run itself on a schedule.

What I offer

Not sure where to start? Begin with a Workflow Teardown, or and we'll figure it out together.

Workflow Teardown

$300 · 90 minutes

Not sure where to start? We spend 90 minutes on one process that's eating your week. You leave with a written summary: what to automate, what to skip, and a rough price to build it. If you move forward within 90 days, the fee credits toward a full audit or a build.

One-Workflow Build

$2,000 fixed · about a week

Pick one annoying task: lead routing, showing follow-ups, change orders, invoice nudges. I build it, set it up in the tools you already use, and show you how it works. Price and finish line agreed in writing before I start.

If it turns out to be bigger than one workflow, I'll tell you up front and we'll scope it as a full build instead.

Process & System Audits

From $1,000, fixed fee

I dig into one process and how it really runs. What you get back is a plain-English writeup: what's actually worth automating, what you can probably just handle yourself, and what I'd build for you if you wanted to move forward.

The $1,000 starting price covers one process. If you want a wider look across a system or several related workflows, we'll scope it on the discovery call and I'll quote a fixed fee before I start.

What I'm looking for
  • Repetitive, manual steps. The stuff done the same way every time.
  • Where your time actually goes, not just where you assume it goes
  • Handoffs where things slip, especially between people or between tools
  • Where your data already lives, and how easy it really is to get to
How I decide what's worth automating

Not everything that can be automated should be. I weigh how often something happens and how much time it costs against what it'd take to build and maintain. Risk matters too — a low-stakes task you run fifty times a day is a different call than a high-stakes task you run twice a month. The audit tells you straight where the payoff's real, and where it isn't yet.

Your audit fee counts toward a build if you move forward within 90 days.

Automation Builds

Quoted per project

This is the actual build: whatever your audit pointed to, or something you already know you want. We settle on scope first, in writing, so the price is set before I start.

Where it makes sense, I build with AI tools you already have, like Claude Code or Codex, instead of tacking on a new platform you'd be paying for separately.

How a quote gets built
  • Single-step, low-risk: one trigger, one action, inside a tool you already use. Something like auto-replying to a new form submission, or dropping a completed order into a spreadsheet.
  • Multi-step, one system: a chain of steps inside a single platform or CRM. A new lead comes in, gets tagged, gets assigned, and lands in a follow-up sequence, all inside your CRM.
  • End-to-end, cross-system: connecting multiple tools into one workflow. An order in your store updates inventory, pings your supplier, and logs itself in your books, without you touching any of it. Usually starts with a short paid discovery phase, since that's where surprises like to hide.
  • Custom software: when nothing off-the-shelf actually does the job, I build it from scratch. Same discovery-first approach, often the same AI tools, just aimed at something bigger, like the farm tracker or the tax calculator below.

Every quote spells out what "done" looks like before we start. Once something's live, Keep It Running below covers maintenance.

Keep It Running

$150/month

Automations need a little care: an app changes, a form breaks, you want a tweak. This covers monitoring, fixes, and up to 1 hour of small changes each month, so what I built keeps working. Extra time is $150/hr. Available after any build goes live.

Team AI Workshops

$1,500 per half-day

A hands-on session for your brokerage, crew, or association, for up to 15 people. No jargon, no assumed background. Everyone leaves having built something with AI that they'll use on Monday. On-site within about two hours of Daytona Beach (farther out, travel is added), or remote.

AI Tutoring and Coaching

$150/hr

Sessions to help you actually understand and use AI tools. No assumed background, no jargon. One-on-one or a small group, remote or in person, whichever fits. For a whole team, see Team AI Workshops. We go at your pace, whether that's general AI literacy or co-building something real together inside your own Claude Code or Codex.

Some of what I've actually built

Not hypotheticals. Real projects, done for real businesses.

Farm operations

A project tracker built for how a farm actually works

A small farm operation needed a way to see who was doing what, without relying on a spreadsheet nobody kept updated. What they've got now is a task and sprint tracker with status, ownership, and a running history of every change, simple enough that people actually open it.

Tax compliance

Short-term rental tax, calculated correctly

Volusia County splits its tourist development tax across three overlapping districts, and even the county's own published guidance gets a piece of it wrong. Now there's a tool that calculates exactly what a host owes, district by district. Building it meant catching that error before it caught someone else.

E-commerce

Photos in, listing copy out

A furniture resale business was burning real time writing a solid listing for every single piece it put on Shopify. Now the photos alone get a full draft listing going, and a handful of sharp follow-up questions fill in whatever the pictures can't show.

This business

I use this stuff on my own business, too

CKW's own client leads come from a pipeline I put together myself. It finds prospects, weeds out the ones that aren't a fit, and keeps outreach moving without me babysitting it. Selling automation and not running on any myself would be a little rich.

How it works

1

Free discovery call

A short, no-pressure conversation about what's actually slowing your business down.

2

Audit

I go through the real process and come back with a clear plan, ranked by what's worth fixing first.

3

Build, if you want it

Your audit fee credits toward the build.

About Me

A bit more about me

Cameron, founder of CKW Consulting

I'm Cameron. I'm a Florida native, I graduated from Winter Springs High School before heading to UCF. I still live here, now up in New Smyrna Beach with my wife and our two kids (4 and 1), on a small piece of land where I've been slowly building out a food forest in whatever spare time I can find.

My path here wasn't a straight line. I've been a front end developer, a QA guy, a philosophy teacher at Valencia College, and for a few years I taught English overseas and Mandarin back in the States. I taught myself to code and taught myself AI development mostly by doing it, no real formal training, just a lot of time and effort.

Outside of work I've got a pretty wide range of interests. I like to watch tv at night with my wife and a glass of wine or beer. I like to garden and live in a community of families that garden together. My kids are young enough that most nights end with a book and not much else, a temporary and unique kind of good.

Professionally, I help small businesses and their teams get comfortable with AI, cutting through the hype to figure out what it actually means for how they work day to day. That's the short version of what I do through CKW Consulting, if you want to know more about that side of things.
